With the weather as miserable as it is we thought we would brighten your day with two pieces of news 1) it’s a Friday (although you probably already knew that) and 2) after three years of serving up pizza in Soho, Pizza Pilgrims is branching out and opening its third venue, in Exmouth Market.
Opening next month the 40 cover restaurant will be serving up authentic Neapolitan pizzas including favourites Margherita and marina and their carbonara creation. New to Exmouth Market however will be a lunchtime zuppa menu that will be served from a market stall and quite frankly it’s genius. You know that feeling you want something carb laden and delicious for lunch but you don’t want to be asleep at your desk by 3pm, well how about a pizza in the form of a soup? How about that? Exactly. And it comes with a roll made from pizza dough.
The restaurant is spread out across two floors and will feature retro arcade machines and a 1990s playlist that is going to have all of us feeling nostalgic and reminiscing about when children’s television was actually good.
They will also be launching the World’s First Pizza Box Art Gallery where they will be asking diners to draw pictures and create pieces on their pizza boxes. The best designs will win free pizzas and the very best will go on sale for charity!
That is our good piece of new for today. You’re welcome.
