Prosecco House: London’s First Prosecco Bar Now Open!

Ladies and gents, it’s here. Last year we told you that Prosecco House was on the way and now it has opened! Didn’t catch it before? Check out all the details below!

Finally, someone has sat up and taken notice of our burning desires and quite frankly desperate need. Can you guess what it is, did the bubbles give it away? No? Alright fine I’ll tell you. This February, Prosecco House opens will doors. Yes, all the chilly cold souls, feeling retched after Christmas, can tumble in from as early as eleven am.

Work is feeling a little bleak, and you’re in need of a mid-morning pick me up; a flapjack just won’t cut it. A glass of prosecco however, and we are all clambering out of our office windows and sneaking down the back stairs.

The Prosecco House has been in the pipeline for a while and came into fruition because the owner and founder Kristina Issa was fed up of ordering mediocre prosecco. She began researching her market, and of course her Prosecco. Many bottles of bubbly (and some bad decisions later) Kristina was well equipped to hand-pick the five Italian wineries that are to be The Prosecco House’s exclusive stockists. These include; Marchiori, Rivalta, Cirotto, TASI Bio, and Andreola. All from Veneto Italy, the home and birth place of Prosecco.

So, what can you expect? It’s not often that Prosecco is found in an establishment other than a hotel or bar. Kristina wanted to create a luxurious escape where everyone felt welcome. On walking in you are confronted with a wall to ceiling glass fronted chilling cabinet, where all the prosecco is ready and willing to slip down your throat at a moment’s notice. Just say the word and a glass nay bottle is yours.

The antique tables are topped with mirrored glass so no matter where you look bottles and bubbles are begging for your attention, and that’s just the way we like it. Oh yes Prosecco, I will take you home with me, because you can you know. Not only can you drink to your hearts content in the bar, you can also buy a bottle for later. That’s not all. For the days when you feel like a glamour puss but look like the billy goats gruff, you need not leave the house. Kristina knows her Prosecco, but she knows her clients more, and has teamed up with Ubereats and Deliveroo, just to make all our dreams come true.

During the day there is a delicious spread of Italian focaccia sandwiches, and coffees, but as the evening grows closer you can swap in your sarnies for a platter, featuring some Italian favourites, such as, gorgonzola, salami, cicchetti, and prosciutto.

Now that I’ve whet your appetite, I best tell you where to find the Prosecco House. The new establishment can be found amongst the Berkley Homes, One Tower Bridge, a development of high specification departments, with five-star resident’s facilities, restaurants and commercial space.

All sounds the height of luxury doesn’t it, but why not find out for yourself?

During the soft opening period, from Monday February 5th to Tuesday 13th, Prosecco House will be offering guests 30% off their total bills
