What do you know we’ve made it to February! We’ve already lived through a whole month of 2017 and quite the month it was, but let’s look ahead because this month will see the opening of the Rail House Café at Nova Victoria.
Part of the Village London Central restaurant group (Riding House Café and Village East), the huge 330-cover restaurant will feature an upstairs bar, raised private dining room and outdoor area for 90 – admittedly that sounds unappealing given the state of the weather, but just keep looking ahead to summer when you’ll be inviting everyone to join you.
Following in the Riding House Café’s footsteps it’ll be a modern brasserie and will have the same feel to it but with its own, unique look – they’ve teamed up with Lou Davies from Box 9 Design, who also worked with them for Riding House Cafe and Village East’s re-fit. Floors are inspired by train carriages and have a distinct distressed character, whilst bespoke furniture and interior touches have been created to soften the modern glass and concrete space.
Whilst menus are still to be announced, you can expect all day-dining and a cracking brunch. We’ll be back with more details when we know them!
