Ready, (Mind)Set, Go: New Gym Seeks to Help Your Mindset

Your mindset is an important thing…especially when it comes to carrying out mundane office tasks or waking up for work in the morning, or keeping calm when it’s your other halves turn to choose the movie. In these circumstances, and many others, there’s no doubt a healthy mindset helps you to take the bull by the horns.

With this in mind (see what we did there?), a boutique fitness club – also aptly named Mindset – is throwing open its doors an accessible five-minute walk from Waterloo Station. The gym has been designed to help its users rejuvenate their mental and emotional health alongside keeping fit, offering a range of five bespoke group training classes across its 3,500 sq ft. Talking about the concept, director Darren Sealy, the brains behind the mindset motion says: “With the demands of life and other stressors seemingly increasing all the time – particularly with the long working hours associated with city working – it has never been more important to ensure people take the time to invest in their state of mind”.

As we all know, gyms can be utterly labyrinth-like, and the hunt for the dumbbells can be exercise in itself, so luckily the Mindset set-up isn’t complex. There will be two large studio areas where the classes will take place, which includes a nutrition bar and designer showers and changing rooms – who doesn’t love showering in style? Each of the classes have been designed mindfully, set to combat five key components; social, emotional, nutritional, physical and mental fitness. Well, we don’t MIND if we do…

Mindset opens its doors on the 13th of August at 170 Westminster Bridge Road, SE1 7RW
