Rextail is the second Mayfair restaurant from leading Russian restaurateur Arkady Novikov. The 120-seater venue specialises in fish, meat and game dishes with an international flavour.

We’re talking premium quality steaks from the world’s finest cattle – including Irish Black Angus with other main course highlights being Braised short beef ribs & herb baked bone marrow, Denham Estate venison loin with wild cranberries and Yuzu scented black cod.

Starters feature Wood smoked organic salmon, dandelion, quail eggs & grain mustard, Tuna tartare with koshu dressing & pickled cucumber and Griddled red sea prawns, guacamole, chilli & vine tomato sauce. Desserts include Passion fruit & mango meringue bombe and Tropézienne.

Head Chef is Adrian Martin (The Birley Group’s Annabel’s, Mark’s Club, Harry’s Bar, George and Bath & Racquets; Hoxton Hotel, The Ivy and Le Caprice) and General Manager is Livio Italiani.

Novikov started his restaurant empire over two decades ago with a loan of $50,000. Since opening Sirena in June 1992, his company has grown into a multi-million pound organisation, with over 50 restaurants in and around Moscow. Having expanded to the UK in 2011, he opened Novikov Restaurant & Bar in Berkeley Street and Brompton Asian Brasserie earlier this year in Knightsbridge.
