The Sanderson is celebrating the British Summer Season with the launch of Sanderson Green which promises to bring a touch of quintessential Britishness to the hotel's recently refurbished terrace. The new concept will feature a selection of modern dishes and inventive specialty cocktails alongside its Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea, whilst DJs including Morwenna, Nick Hadfield, and J Saintil provide the night time entertainment.
The menu is comprised of classic grilled and summer favorites served from Monday to Sunday from 12pm to late. Dishes include 28-Day Dry Aged Rose County Beef Burger on a glazed brioche bun with a selection of toppings such as Cropwell Bishop Stilton, Smoked Streaky Bacon, or Marinated Avocado.
In addition, Sanderson Green offers an updated version of the traditional Lobster Roll, prepared with Roasted Scottish Lobster and house-made garlic paprika aioli, a Slow Roasted Pulled Pork Sandwich using Gloucestershire Old Spot Pork Shoulder and Red Cabbage served on a Glazed Brioche Bun and a House-Made Veggie Burger with Edamame and Oven Roasted Tomato.
A limited edition cocktail menu will feature signature cocktails, including the Cool Britania (English Breakfast Tea, Somerset Cider Brandy, King’s Ginger Liqueur, Gomme) and the Rose Collins (Henrick’s Gin, Rhubarb Liqueur, Rose Lemonade, Rose Essence and Apples).
Alternatively try one of the new Tipsy Shakes, milkshake based cocktails with flavors such as Mozart & Oreo (Dark Chocolate Ice Cream, Mozart Dark, Bacardi Oakheart Rum and Oreo Biscuit) and the Crackled Pina Colada (Bacardi White Rum, Coconut Ice Cream, Pineapple, Orange Zest, and Crackles).
