Got your 2016 diaries ready, got your phone calendar ready? Good because here is an event that you need to remember, in April 2016 the Institute of Competitive Socialising, founded by will be returning with the second Swingers Crazy Golf pop-up.
Founded by Matt Grech-Smith and Jeremy Simmonds, this year they were in Shoreditch but next year they’ll be taking over the Brown’s Building near The Gherkin with an impressive 16,000 square foot of eating, drinking and crazy golf fun. There’ll be two 9-hole crazy golf courses; four cocktail bars – because everyone knows that a cocktail or two down and your golfing skills will excel; a two storey clubhouse complete with gin terrace mezzanine so you can look down on your fellow golfers; The President’s Committee Room – a private dining room and three street food vendors.
Confirmed so far are Patty & Bun the burger connoisseurs who will be revealing a new concept for Swingers and Pizza Pilgrims, the go to guys for pizza who will be creating new pizzas especially for the pop-up.
Drinks wise, Swingers will be serving Meantime’s London Lager and Pale Ale – they’re going to be installing three, 1000 litre tanks, that’s a lot of beer to fuel your playing. They’ll also be continuing their partnership with Freixenet, the fun loving world-renowned cava, because everyone knows that sparkling wine and burgers are a match made in heaven.
Advance tickets will go on sale in January, which you should buy to give you something to feel cheerful about in the bleakest month of the year.
