The Tapas Room: New to Tooting

Today sees the opening of The Tapas Room, a new drink shop, deli and eatery opening in Tooting Broadway Market from the pair behind Donostia Social Club – Paul Belcher and Adrian Copplestone.

There’ll be a Basque-inspired tapas, charcuterie and cheese menu with the likes of white tuna and escabeche; chicken liver parfait with pickled figs and griddled white asparagus with Romesco and toasted almonds and for pudding, a chocolate and macadamia brownie with a PX sherry glaze all appearing.

To drink you’ll find specialist wines, sherries, vermouths and cavas from the Basque and Spanish regions which have all been carefully sourced by Paul and Adrian’s import company DSC Imports and associated wine suppliers.

There’ll be bar seating but they’ll also offer takeaway dishes and they’ll do delivery too. So you can order tapas whilst you order everything else from Amazon…

Tapas Room: Opens 4th May 2017, Unit 3-5 Broadway Market, 29 Tooting High Street, SW17 0RJ, www.thetapasroom.co.uk
