When it comes to drinking, one is good, two is better. This couldn’t be truer for The Cocktail Trading Company, which after the success of its West End venue is about to launch a second venue in Smithfield.
With The Cocktail Trading Company Soho, brought to you by the award winning team of bartenders, Andy Mil, Olly Brading and Elliot Ball, serving an innovative selection of drinks in wellies, Chinese take-out boxes and miniature graveyards it was only a matter of time before they would be expanding their empire. Following on from its sister site guests can expect the brand’s quirky trademark cocktails and down-to-earth vibe at CTC Smithfield, located in a fun and lively new basement bar. The bar can be found downstairs of the all-day modern restaurant and bar, Ask For Janice, which is set over two floors.
Drinks on the menu will include the Sesame Peat, a mix of Sesame 86 Co. Tequila, apricot brandy, paprika and cacao syrup, topped off with grapefruit pineapple soda, and Chocolate Flip; Bacardi 8 year rum, cacao-infused chartreuse, tawny port and pistachio ice cream.
The Cocktail Trading Company Smithfield: Opens 12th October, 50-52 Long Acre Lane, EC1A 9EJ www.thecocktailtradingco.co.uk
