We all know the feeling of going out to a restaurant, over ordering and then feeling that impending sense of doom when the bill is brought over. Not at The Common though. Opening next week in Willesden Junction as part of The Collective (the world’s largest co-living building), The Common is all about sharing and affordable eating.

The menu is all about seasonal British dishes, created by Head Chef, Andre Miguel. We’re talking about the likes of steak, eggs and chips; halloumi burgers and salad with lentils, chickpeas, red peppers and grilled aubergine. All the meat is high-welfare and the best thing is, the more you order the cheaper it is. So, order mushroom tagliatelle for one and it’s £6 or for two it’s £10 and for three it’s £15. There’ll also be daily deals like pizzas for £5 at lunch time; 2 for 1 wings on a Wednesday and a free pizza when you order a bottle of prosecco on Saturday. Every third Wednesday of the month they’ll hold a free tasting club for 12 people so that new dishes can be trialled and the menu can be based on the feedback given.

With large floor to ceiling windows, the restaurant will be light and airy with a stripped back, industrial feel, low hanging lighting, booths and a private dining room for up to twelve guests.
