It’s the 4th January, Christmas is over, New Year’s Eve is over, hopefully your hang over is over. Now it’s time to say goodbye to the family boxes of chocolate, to say good bye to living in your pyjamas and to say hello again to healthy food and the gym.

Don’t worry this is much more delicious than it sounds and if 2015 and Instagram has taught us anything it’s that eating healthily is not dull, especially when Lily Simpson founder of The Detox Kitchen is opening a new flagship deli in Fitzroy Place today.

Spread over two floors the deli will feature a salad and juice bar where you can get your green juice fix and exclusive to Fitzroy Place it will have an eat-in sharing menu of small plates with dishes from breakfast through to early supper and will include dishes such as griddled sweet potato with red onion, soya yoghurt and honey pecans; Miso aubergine, sesame seeds and coriander; king prawns, quinoa, courgette and basil pesto and sweet treats like their beetroot brownies. All the dishes are wheat, dairy and refined sugar free meaning that you can indulge like it’s Christmas without the fear of going up a size in the January sales.

Creating a home from home atmosphere which is relaxed, guests will be met by a floor to ceiling wall of herbs and fresh fruits. They’ll also be low level lighting, personalised art work and leather banquettes. Downstairs will be a fully equipped fitness studio so you can either work up and appetite or fuel your work up, classes will include everything from yoga to HIIT all chosen by Lily and The Detox Kitchen crew and will be run by some of the top health professionals in London.
