The House of Peroni residency is returning to London for sthe month of November and promises to showcase a new wave of Italian style and creativity. The new space is designed by award-winning architect and co-designer of the Enzo Ferrari museum, Andrea Morgante.
Guests can discover experiential fashion installations by a new era of Italian designers including, Fabio Quaranta and Simone Rainer, and watch specially commissioned fashion, art and documentary shorts. A video installation inspired by classical Italian sculpture has also been developed by video artist, Quayola (V&A and MoMA).
A luxurious cinema space will be showing a series of contemporary Italian films every evening and host a ticketed, film and dining event every Wednesday evening. There will feature a screening of new film The Great Beauty, directed by Paolo Sorrentino, alongside a special multi-course tasting menu that brings to life the tastes, scents and textures shown in the film.
The Kitchen seats up to 12 people and offers a more formal dining experience. However, a menu from the Michelin-starred Costardi Brothers is available throughout The House from 12noon – 10pm and features film and fashion inspired dishes including ‘Rosso Valentino’ red risotto. There are two bars as well, serving Peroni Nastro Azzurro (but of course) and infusions developed by Gerry Calabrese.
The soundtrack has been created by 25 exciting young Italian music producers and DJs who have developed a playlist for each room – they’ll also be performing live. Come, chill, drink, snack and take advantage of the free wifi or book into the schedule of evening ticketed food, drink, film and fashion master classes.
