As soon as we heard that Drake & Morgan has announced the opening of a new restaurant we knew good things were abound. For those of you not in the know, Drake & Morgan is the London-based bar group who have masterminded such successful venues as The Happenstance, The Fable and The Anthologist amongst others. Their latest venture is The Refinery, a bar, restaurant, deli and outdoor terrace rolled into one, which will be popping up in Regent’s Place this March.
With a view of the river, the one-floored venue has been given the midas touch by designer-of-choice Fusion, which sees the venue filled with light woods, clean lines and bright pops of colour. The food and drink will be typical of Drake & Morgan bars and restaurants, with fresh, seasonal menus from the kitchen and creative cocktails at the bar. Whether you want to graze at the bar or are ready to settle down for a 3-course dinner, your options are covered here – choose from signature flatbreads, seasonal salads, a 10oz t-bone steak and whole Scottish lobster. If you aren’t feeling too peckish then head to the bar for a classic cocktail with a twist or one of over 40 wines by the glass.
Locals to Regents Place are sure to make The Refinery a weekday favourite as it fills all requirements, be it a casual spot for after-work drinks, early-morning meetings, working lunches and even late–night lounging.
