The Vaults

By | 27th September 2011

Home House knows how to throw a mean party but now the exclusive members' club is launching The Vaults, its new late night party rooms. Inspired by Studio 54, Regines, Annabels and Harry’s Bar, The Vaults promise a timeless playground of pleasure in the basement of No 21 Portman Square and claims the moniker, ‘the ultimate portal to hedonism’.

It boasts its own private entrance leading down a resin staircase to a leather-clad door complete with gold chain-mailed peepholes – a perfect backdrop for working the fetish trend. The rooms come complete with ambient lighting, luxurious textures and cutting edge art and sculpture. Rich tones of copper, bronze and gold are married with crystal and faux tortoiseshell and there is even an architectural aquarium.

The space comprises a bar lounge area and two private rooms accommodating a selective 80 people with each of the private sections housing 20. The drinks list is similarly exclusive and partygoers can choose from a cocktail menu featuring Moet & Chandon Vintages and Dom Perignon as part of the premium bottle table service.

Over the coming weeks high profile scensters from the entertainment world will be curating their own private parties but there’s plenty else to keep you busy including X-Box's and karaoke machines and even a burlesque stage.

After 1am we hear that (almost) anything goes and that the house rule, according to Managing Director Andrew Richardson, is “Never say no to any customer request unless it’s illegal!” Now that’s an invitation we can’t refuse.
