How’s that New Year’s resolution going? You know the one that you set to be more put together, to not wear the same outfit twice, maybe three times in a row and to reintroduce yourself to your make up bag when hungover? Doesn’t matter if you haven’t stuck to it all the time, but the week you do need to try, is London Fashion Week and in particular Vodafone London Fashion Weekend (26th February – 1st March).
Taking place once more at Somerset House and organised by the British Fashion Council, Vodafone London Fashion Weekend is four days of shopping, industry talks and sartorial knowledge. It’s a chance to buy pieces from British and international designers at fashion – insider prices, learn how to style your wardrobe and recreate designs from the catwalk into outfits you can actually wear everyday.
Making their debut at the Designer Catwalk Shows are SIBLING and Jean Pierre Braganza, they’ll be joined by other prestigious designers including Amanda Wakeley and Fyodor Golan who returns on the success of its highly anticipated debut last year, giving you fashion from the front row.
For those looking for style inspiration then THE OUTNET.COM will be on hand with their Trend Catwalk Shows, they’ll be using their style credentials to show you how to convert trend highlights into everyday outfits, because let’s be honest if you took some of the looks straight from the catwalk and wore them to the office you might get a mixed response. If you’re after a bit of insider knowledge then head to the Industry Talks where the UK’s leading experts will be imparting their fashion secrets and tips for style and succeeding in the fashion world.
Oh and as part of its 200th anniversary, quintessential British brand Pringle of Scotland has designed the limited-edition official tote bag for 2015.
After this weekend they’ll be no reason not to stick to your fashion resolutions.
