“From the Fire” feasts is a summer series taking place at Roth Bar & Grill every Thursday evening, and will first be hosted by Melissa Hemsley; she is one half of the Hemsley sisters and author of best-selling cookbook “Eat Happy”. She will make a guest chef appearance at Roth Bar & Grill and will host a one-off seasonal supper club, cooking alongside Steve Horrell, who is the Executive chef of Roth Bar & Grill. The seasonal three-course supper includes: Cedar plank trout, hoisin sauce, with cucumber & cabbage slaw to start, followed by Blackened spatchcock chicken with grilled sweetcorn, fresh herbs, quinoa & tomato salad and Russian dressing, and Salted chocolate mousse with homemade honeycomb and garden strawberries for dessert. Roth Bar & Grill is demonstrating Steve’s passion for cooking over the fire, each week the kitchen team will cook a different dish using seasonal, local produce over the iconic fire pit or asado; presenting a chance to re-discover the lost art of this age-old cooking technique.
