For a delicious dose of culture this October, the Tate Britain’s restaurant, Rex Whistler, is teaming up with professional forager, Fred Gillam, for a one off evening celebrating the very best of British seasonal delicacies, truffles, mushrooms and cheeses. Gillam runs award-winning herb and foraging course, ‘The Wild Side of Life’, and will be joined by expert cheesemongers Paxton & Whitfield, who are serving their special Brie stuffed truffles at the end of the meal. Rex Whistler’s Head Chef Garrett Keown has pulled out all the stops for this Autumnal feast, seeking out the UK’s finest truffles and beautifully paired wines for a truly sensational evening in an iconic setting.
