Somehow Friends is the sitcom that keeps giving, decades (now plural) since it started and more than 17 years since we thought we’d put it to rest, the TV phenomenon keeps repeating on us. Like Rachel’s trifle will.

Because, with almost every avenue of Friends nostalgia now expended, the world was simply crying out for Rachel’s beef trifle. And thanks to Wonderland At Home they’re getting it.

Just in case you missed the ’90s. And the ’00s re-runs. And the ’10s reruns. And the current reruns, the inspiration is the One Where Ross Got High, from season six (of a thousand).

It’s Thanksgiving and Monica has delegated the dessert to Rachel, who attempts to make a traditional English trifle. However, the pages are stuck together (‘Chandler!’) and she accidentally combines the recipes for shepherd’s pie (famously not made with beef but we’ll let it go) and trifle, creating a frankenpudding.

Which is exactly what the Wonderland kit will include.

The company that also brought us comic book restaurant Park Row, which opened to great fanfare earlier this summer, has announced the foodie home kit as their Thanksgiving option, meaning it’ll go on sale in the next few weeks.

The company that also brought us comic book restaurant Park Row...

Along with the faithfully recreated trifle (which is guaranteed to do them wonders on social media, though may arguably disappoint actual diners) anyone ordering the purple-boxed (to look like Monica’s flat) kit can enjoy six Friends themed courses, five of which you’ll be glad to know are edible.

Wait for it...

Enjoy ‘edible leg wax on a caramel cheesecake (a reference to The One With The Morning After’s pain-free leg-waxing session) and the Moist Maker Sandwich With Chanberry Sauce (a nod to The One With Ross’s Sandwich).

Something about laboratory rats...

The kit will also feature a bar of Mockolate (which we first encounter in The One With The List), which in the show is denied FDA approval, “something about laboratory rats” – hopefully the one in the kit will be fine.

And there’s also a can of Central Perk coffee and margarita mix for pre or post cocktails.

The whole custardy-beefy affair will be available from Wonderland At Home in time for this Thanksgiving. Don’t all rush at once…
