Spring Into The Weekend With These 13 Plans

This weekend sees the restaurant scene rev up their engine and begin reopening their doors for the first time in over three months. It’s been one hell of a rocky road to get to where we are now but we couldn’t be more excited to sample some of our favourite dishes and explore the best of London once more.

Of course safety is needed to be taken so if you are venturing a little more further afield this weekend, make sure you’re following the government guidelines and staying safe.

Here’s our guide on what to do this weekend.

Enjoy Summer Cocktails At The Enchanting Dalloway Terrace

Our favourite floral hideout, Dalloway Terrace, will be remerging this Saturday following a whimsical facelift courtesy of McQueens Flowers.

Nuzzled in the heart of Bloomsbury, Dalloway Terrace is our go-to stop for delicious summer dishes and refreshing cocktails, all set against a backdrop of cascading roses, sweet peas and tulips. As well as their normal summer menu, their infamous afternoon tea will also be available, from 3-5pm every day, drawing inspiration from the typical British classics.

This weekend you’ll find us sipping on floral inspired cocktails here too. Our favourite being the ‘full bloomer’, a mix of Absolut Elyx Vodka, Banana, Diplomático Planas Rum, Crème De Banane, Caramel Cream, Tonka Bean Bitters and Rainbow Dust.

Reopening Saturday 4th July

Book In For Dinner At The Berkeley’s New Whimsical Garden Restaurant

We’re hoping the British weather holds out this weekend because we’re looking to reserve a seat at The Berkeley’s brand new garden restaurant, The Garden at The Berkeley.

Earlier this week, The Berkeley dropped that they would be returning in style with their brand new alfresco dining spot, bringing with it an informal Mediterranean menu. Tuck into everything from giant charred prawns; T-bone steak with smoked shallot butter and chimichurri; grilled sardines with lemon and rock salt; and roast cauliflower with smoked almond puree. Plus they’re also putting their own spin on the traditional Pimm’s pitcher with their own ‘The Berkeley Cup’, a lovely mix of rum, Pimm’s, cassis and ginger beer, topped with cucumber and strawberries of course.

Opening Saturday 4th July

Party It Up At Fulham Beach’s Summer Reopening

Every year we wait in anticipation for the return of Fulham Beach. And, while the pandemic did its best at tearing away every ounce of fun, Neverland London isn’t letting it tear away the oh-so-familiar sandy shore that lies in Fulham. London’s best city beach is preparing to return this Saturday and it’s set to be bigger, better and sandier than ever.

Their booking site is now open and there seems to be a whole lot of beach hut action, exclusive cabanas, feasting tables and even a jungle covered pergola like last year. With traveling aboard almost certainly off the cards this year, Fulham Beach might just be our only chance to relax in the sun, lie back and think of anywhere but England.

The West London favourite has reinvented their tantalising bottomless brunch for their opening day. Choose your booze of choice (Prosecco, mimosa or Bloody Mary) before filling up on your brunch favourite. We love their vegan rancheros, a mix of tomato, squash, mushroom and avocado packed inside a tortilla, and you can’t go wrong with a stack of buttermilk pancakes topped with bacon, blueberries and maple syrup.
