It’s such a genuine joy to be planning a return to the foodie festival of the summer, and in true ‘absence makes the heart grow fonder’ style, the line-up for this ten-day extravaganza looks genuinely incredible, from Jack Whitehall’s Food Slut to Big Mamma’s Napoli Gang, it’s going to be brilliant!
Taste of London is the capital’s leading food and drink festival, an annual smorgasbord of restauranteurs, food producers, live demonstrations, fun, games and… free samples!
This year, for the first time, Taste of London takes place over two long weekends in July in what’s billed as the best bonanza yet. And with over 135 dishes to try across the ten day festival everyone is sure to discover something special from across London’s multicultural, diverse restaurant scene.

From fine dining to street food, the very best of London’s foodie scene will be on-hand and on show at the Regent’s Park event. Expect appearances from Handbook favourites like Burger & Lobster and Flesh & Buns, new concepts like Casa Calavera by Hakkasan and Italian Japanese restaurant Angelina as well as ‘Chop it like its Hot’, a Taste Kitchen dedicated to intimate hands-on experiences with culinary heroes for budding chefs and guest-starring Professor Green and Gizzi Erskines concept ‘Giz n Green’.
Regulars will be heartened by the return of the fire pit, where London’s ‘hottest’ (geddit?) chefs will offer their insights on open-flame cooking, led by Jack Whitehall and Marcus Petty-Saphon. The star duo are responsible for the successful Food Slut concept.
They will be joined by lockdown hot-stuff Hot4U from ex-Head Chef of Cub Matthew Scott and Eddy Tejada of St John, not to mention a host of others along with festival favourite DJ BBQ, back for the third year running.
Meanwhile, and for the first time, there will be live demonstrations (and samples) from NEFF (the oven people) with NEFF Cook & Connect, an area that will give up-and-coming chefs and industry professionals a platform to promote their story and host conversations about key issues within the industry.
If you want to celebrate returning to the foodie world in style then Accor Live Limitless, the lifestyle loyalty programme of the Accor group, will be joining Taste of London to offer private dining experiences with their top chefs and masterclasses to its members.
