Name a better place to perch a terrace bar than along the Thames? You’ve got to hand it to them, Somerset House knew what they were doing. And we’re so glad they did because this bar, in partnership with San Miguel, quickly became our favourite spot for post-work beers and sunset cocktails.
Let’s not forget it’s handily located alongside Somerset House. Head into the home of cultural innovators and the UK’s largest creative community to get your culture fix topped up as you explore their latest exhibition, ‘Eternally Yours’, a free collection of works from designers, makers and artists exploring ideas surrounding care, repair and healing, before making your way out for an ice cold pint of San Miguel. The ideal date spot, this is the place to head to make memories that’ll last all summer.
Inspired by its Spanish heritage, San Miguel has created a place that’s perfect for whiling away a summer afternoon or evening. With views overlooking iconic landmarks including the London Eye, where else would you want to enjoy a sundown moment?

Whether you’re a beer lover or need a refreshing cocktail to keep you company in the warm weather, the Somerset House Terrace Bar with San Miguel is topped up with the goods. It’s the only place in the UK where you can enjoy San Miguel speciality beers on draught. You can look forward to an ice cold pint of 0,0%, Radler or Selecta.
If you’re after something a little lighter, say cheers with the new San Miguel Sundown Spritz cocktail, perfect for days when the sun is beating down.
To welcome the weekend, the bar will offer a ‘Sundown Hour’ every Friday from 6pm to 7pm, with an exclusive offer on two pints of San Miguel Especial and two tapas dishes for just £20. Pair your spritz or beer alongside a selection of their delicious tapas dishes from their menu and you’ll be able to convince yourself you’re in Spain, even if just for an hour or two…
