This clean, 100% organic beauty mist comes at a price, however if you’re looking for a multi-tasking skincare product that can be worn either under or on top of makeup, look no further. It’s oil-free formula, leaves no greasy residue but instead a veil of radiance. We must confess though, it’s not our favourite smell on this list.

Byoma Balancing Face Mist, £11.99
The entire ethos of Byoma is based on the premise that a healthy skin barrier means great-looking skin. This soothing face mist is pH balanced and packed with ceramides, which act as the building blocks of a strong skin barrier. Just a few sprays will hydrate dry, dehydrated skin in no time. But be warned, spray a stretched arm length away from your face for a well-spread misting, too close and your skin will be drenched in the stuff!
de Mamiel Dewy Facial Mist, £60
Like everything de Mamiel creates, this blend of essential oils, herbal extracts and hyaluronic mix has been given much thought. Each spritz feeds your skin with a healthy dose of phytonutrients while hydrating and plumping dull lacklustre skin. While it feels and looks like a mist, it is undoubtedly more intensive and serum-like, which is exactly what it claims to be. A “serum in a mist”.

If a puffy, irritated face and eyes are your nemeses for the summer, this mist packed with hyaluronic acid provides both immediate and long-lasting hydration for the face, resulting in a cooling sensation that refreshes and calms the skin on hot sticky days.

A long-term favourite amongst the beauty folk, this mist is ultra-fine (you don’t even need to shut your eyes when applying) making it a great choice for both children and adults alike. Throw into your handbag/beach bag/changing bag to keep you and your family cool, hydrated and suitably glowing throughout the summer.
Avène Thermal Water, £13
Made with pure thermal spring water, known to the French as “healing water”, this spray will quickly turn around dry, tight skin to a glowing hydrated complexion. Like all Avène products, this fine mist is sensitive skin friendly and beautifully soothing on stressed skin. A cult buy for good reason.
