If you’re mad about interiors, collaborations don’t come much dreamier than this. Two of Britain’s most iconic design brands – boujee paint experts Farrow & Ball and legendary department store Liberty London – have joined forces for a unique partnership that’s going to please any home decor enthusiast.

Delving deep into the Farrow & Ball Archive collection, the duo has chosen 15 shades and paired them up with complementary fabrics from the instantly recongnisable Liberty Modern Collector range. So if you’re in the market for a home makeover, make sure you bookmark this.

The results are, as you’d expect, stunning. Think of those famous Liberty print florals peppered with jewel tones or pretty pastels and matched perfectly with a richly pigmented Farrow & Ball paint, so you can seamlessly bring a room together, from the walls to the soft furnishings.

Favourites of the collection include; Potted Shrimp – a sweet, soft hue that has been paired with the retro-feeling Poppy Meadowfield Liberty Print. We rather fancy it in a guest bedroom paired with lots of vintage-inspired ruffes and scalloped-edge linens. A shoutout must also go to the shade ‘Cane’ paired with Liberty’s Persian Voyage in Lichen Print. The detailed print has an almost tropical feel but done in that traditional Liberty way; while the paint is a deep yellow teetering on the edge of gold – perfect for a dark, cosy room that you want to add drama too. And finally, the charminly named Fruit Fool – a peppy coral shade that’s been teamed up with Liberty’s pretty feminine Palampore Trail fabric. Gorgeous used in a bedroom or living room with wood panelling.

Genevieve Bennett, head of design interiors at Liberty, said: “All our collections are very colour-led so it was incredibly exciting to extend the Modern Collector range further with Farrow & Ball – another brand with a deep heritage and authority in colour – to curate an edit of 15 beautiful shades from their archive.”

If there’s one thing that Farrow & Ball and Liberty have in common it’s their way with colour. It can be bold, statement-making but it is always tasteful and timeless and we can’t wait to get this particular collaboration up on our walls.

The Farrow & Ball and Liberty collection launches 1st October 2021.
