Stitch Fix: Everything You Need To Know About The Personal Styling Service

4th July 2022 | By Gemma Louise Deeks

As a fashion editor and stylist for nearly 10 years, shopping is my second nature. I know my personal style inside out, what suits my body shape and what colours and prints I like (and loathe). I am my own personal stylist and often my mums too, frequently receiving Whatsapp’s asking if I can choose her a whole new wardrobe or my opinion on her latest buy.

But of course, not everyone has their own personal shopper at the click of a button, and that’s where Stitch Fix comes in. The technology-based platform hosts a personal style service for men and women that evolves with your tastes, needs and lifestyle, whether you want to update your seasonal wardrobe, try new trends or simply lacking in time.

Founder Katrina Lake created Stitch Fix to blend the human element of personal styling with high-quality clothing and proprietary algorithms and today the company has brought the exclusive shopping experience to millions of men and women worldwide.

The Fashion

Offering over 100 established and exclusive brands, Stitch Fix carries all our favourites including Whistles, Mango, Rag & Bone, All Saints and Boden in UK sizes 6-18. They work with thousands of passionate stylists, trendsetters and fashion experts who are motivated to learn about your style and needs in order to find the perfect pieces for you.

Ease at your fingertips

With an exclusive iPhone app, it’s easier than ever to get style at your fingertips. Rate your favourite looks, communicate with your stylist on the go and quickly share notes and feedback. Schedule and check out whenever, wherever.

Whether you’re looking for floral tea dresses or classic denim, your personal stylist will cater to all your needs.

So how does it work?

The sign-up process is simple, you complete a short quiz about your body shape, preferred styles, colours and prints which builds a style profile for your stylists to work from. You then get clothing truly personalised to you based on your style, size and price range for a small £10 styling fee. Try on at home and pay only for what you like, the £10 fee redeemed against anything you decide to keep AND if you keep all 5 items, there is a 20% discount on your total basket.

All deliveries and returns are free and made easy with a pre-paid return label, so there’s minimal hassle. Just how we like it.

Get Stitch Fix deliveries when you want them, whether that’s every 3 months with new seasonal pieces or every 2 weeks which trend-driven pieces, there’s no subscription required.
