1. Short & Sweet

Pinks will always have a place in our spring summer colour spectrum and this tonal layered look is no exception. The pretty pale bottom coat acts as the perfect base for playful brights like fluoro and fuchsia – we’re also quite in love with the abstract wavy motif. Perfect if you want to experiment with colour and pattern, but subtly.

2. Pastel Rainbow

This season, pastels are anything but predictable. Besides, a set of French tips in pretty pastel hues – with a bonus complimentary curve above the cuticle – is guaranteed to lift your spirits every time you look down. What could be more evocative of spring than these candy shades – just look at that peachy coral and sky blue… Sweetly irresistible.

3. Coming Up Roses

Petals on our fingertips?! Err, yes please. We all love flowers, especially at this time of year, and these delicate nail art designs are perfectly in tune with the season and our mood. If Laura Ashley did nails, we’d imagine they’d look like this. Either use a fine nail art brush to create, or even better, ask a pro.

Where: Harrods, 87-135 Brompton Road, London, SW1X 7XL

4. Do Daisies

According to Instagram, daisies are in full bloom for spring. A 90s’ classic, they go perfectly with breezy summer dresses and relaxed denim. Also, if you’ve already been lucky enough to score a salon appointment, and have manicured nails, it really is easy enough to elevate your look with a few DIY daisies. All you need is the tip of a bobby pin, and the right colours.

5. Lemon Tips

So subtle yet so chic, these pretty yellow tips are the epitome of sophistication. The buttery shade also happens to match the Pantone of the season – Illuminating Yellow. Make sure your nails are reflective of your optimistic mood when the sun really starts to shine.

6. Graphic

This minimalist manicure gives maximum effect. Don’t be fooled by the simplicity though, that pale blush base is absolutely flawless. And the precision involved in the size and positioning of those impactful dots definitely requires a steady professional hand.

7. Stripes Ahoy

Say hello to the new summer stripes. Forget nautical, that’s too predictable, spring summer is definitely about subtlety and single tones. The gradual colour strips of this style acts like a double French manicure, and it’s like the prettiest gradient rainbow we ever did see.

8. Sage Green

Make like @seebyfranzi and match you mani to your spring knits, fashion is also enamoured by green this season. Essie’s Cacti On The Prize is a muted neutral green nail polish with yellow undertones, and is inspired by a tranquil desert spa retreat. It also happens to be from their limited edition Spring 2021 collection.
