From beauty festivals to fitness classes, drag brunches to Rick Stein’s must-try seafood pop-up, here’s everything you need to plan the perfect weekend in the capital.
We’re a sucker for a pop-up and it always gets our seal of approval where seafood is involved. And the latest is from The Goring, who has teamed up with Rick Stein for a week-long pop-up filled with lobster, crab and the freshest fish available.
Presented on the sunny veranda overlooking The Goring’s secluded garden, the pop-up will see Rick and his team bring to life Rick’s signature dishes, filled with fresh fish.
Alongside the pop-up guests can book in for an overnight stay (with a guaranteed upgrade!) and they’ll be treated to a three-course lunch or dinner. A Rick Stein book will also be included in the package, so guests can cook up a seafood storm at home.
Dishes available include Whole Dover Sole meunière with noisette butter and Tronçon of Turbot with Hollandaise sauce, plus Sea Bass Ceviche with red chilli, tomatoes, red onions, coriander and avocado and crispy Smoked Mackerel and Green Mango salad.
When: Monday 14th – Sunday 20th June

You can’t have a park picnic without a bottle of Prosecco in tow. Level up your picnic plans this weekend and try out the new collaboration from Lina Stores and Della Vita, even if it means having a picnic inside because of the rainy weather outside.
Della Vite, the Prosecco brand from the Delevingne sisters, has teamed up with London’s favourite Italian delicatessen, Lina Stores, to create the best picnic package, perfect for parks, garden parties and weekend get-togethers.
The La Scampagnata Picnic Bag comes complete with a bottle of Della Vite Superiore Prosecco DOCG, Rosemary & sea salt focaccia, Nocellara del Belice olives, Salame felino, Coppa, Taleggio, Ubriaco al Prosecco, Sicilian cannoli and a Della Vita bottle stopper. It all comes packaged inside a limited-edition tote. There’s also a vegetarian option too.
Ibiza might be off the cards, but you can still get those salty sea air in your hair vibes at Southbank’s Sea Containers this summer. Well, the next best thing anyway. The luxury hotel has teamed up with world-renowned Champagne house Laurent-Perrier to create a summer terrace serving up a selection of seafood small plates, decadent fruits de mer platters, British oysters and plenty of bubbles to wash it all down with.
The dishes take inspiration from the newly launched ‘HEDGEROW by agua’ line of ingredients that celebrate the thriving British hedgerow and the indigenous flora. Sink into colourful seating surrounded by lush green foliage right on the edge of the River Thames. On the menu are delights such as pan-fried scallop in an almond soup with fish eggs and fennel; steamed mussels with pillowy potato bread; and lobster atop toast and celeriac remoulade.
And don’t even think about leaving without a side of the hotel’s famous ceviche tacos. A reason to go all on their own.
