The Weekend Is Within Touching Distance, Here’s How To Spend It

24th September 2020 | By Lottie Woodrow

The weekend is in reaching distance and after the turbulent week we’ve all had, we’re in need of a little fun to soften the Coronavirus news.

From new arty exhibitions to the new posh kebab you’ll want to try, we’ve rounded up the 11 best things to catch this weekend.

Try the Le Bab x Big Zuu Collab

London’s favourite kebab house, Le Bab, have teamed up with London grime artist and TV host, Big Zuu to create the ultimate hangover cure in the form of the humble kebab.

Named the ‘Big Zuu’, it’s essentially a poshed up shish kebab. It’s packed with barbecue grilled chicken shish, doubled-fried southern-style chicken, salt and vinegar cassava chips, scotch bonnet barbecue sauce, garlic mayo and topped with a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese.

Kick off your weekend with this hearty, flavour packed kebab.

Available from Le Bab and Maison Bab from 24th September – 31st October

Album of the week: Fleet Foxes – Shore

We love a surprise album drop and Fleet Foxes executed the drop of their fourth album Shore in such a beautiful way.

Earlier this week, Fleet Foxes asked fans to join them, from 13:31 universal coordinated time, to stream their new album. With yesterday marking the Autumn Equinox, the band’s soft, folk-rock sounds blended perfectly with the seasonal change. Shore is a beautiful upbeat folk epic full of lush harmonies and crisp production.

Their album is slotted alongside an epic 55-minute, Super-16mm film Shore, which was filmed and directed by Kertsi Jan Werdal.
