Smith’s Bar & Grill

Introducing London’s most Wimbledon-y dessert offering of the year… Smith’s Bar & Grill have gone above and beyond with their strawberry dessert offering. 

Available until 11th July, the dessert features a soft white chocolate and vanilla sponge that’s filled with a sweet strawberry and cream mousse, before being coated in desiccated coconut and placed on a strawberry coulis. It’s in the shape (and colour!) of a tennis ball and even features a little white chocolate tennis racket.

City Social London

Located on the 24th floor of Tower 42 sits City Social London, the Michelin starred restaurant by Jason Atherton. As well as boasting next level panoramic views across London, the restaurant’s dessert menu celebrates the classic British ingredient: the strawberry. 

The summer dessert features wild strawberries, vanilla yoghurt parfait and an icy strawberry sorbet. It’s sweet yet tart, and makes for an enjoyable dish while looking out at the city’s skyline.

Cakes & Bubbles

Cakes & Bubbles, located on Regent Street, is the brainchild of famed chef Albery Adria and his brother Ferran. Inspired by the La Dolca, Cakes & Bubbles specialises in exceptional desserts that are both picture perfect and delicious. 

For a strawberry fix, try the ‘After Eight’. It’s a strawberry and chocolate marshmallow that’s pillowy, fluffy and sweet. The classic dessert features in their Sweet Afternoon Bubbles experience, as well as a stand-alone dish.

As the warmer weather hits, there’s only one thing that is sure to hit the spot and that’s a dollop of fresh gelato from Eataly.

Park Chinois

It wouldn’t be strawberry season without a healthy serving of Eton mess. And where better to head than Mayfair’s Park Chinois where they celebrate the favourite fruit of the season to its fullest. 

Offering a little something for the whole table, their sharing dessert offering includes the pastry team’s favourite summer sweets, including an Eton mess topped with fresh strawberries, lemon and mint. It’s accompanied by miniature bites of matcha choux, passion fruit and dark chocolate delice, coconut and hazelnut rocher with coffee caramel and rose lychee sphere and white chocolate.

Fortnum’s Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon

There’s no afternoon tea experience quite like a Fortnum’s experience, so why go anywhere else than the best?

Japan Centre 

For something a little different, try the Japan Centre’s new menu favourite: the strawberry mochi doughnut. 

Available from the UK’s first dedicated mochi bar, available from their Panton Street branch, the offering is a handmade mochi made with Japanese mochiko rice flour to give them their signature sweet, crispy texture. It’s decorated with strawberry icing, strawberry sprinkles and a crunchy strawberry Pocky.

Strawberry pie, anyone? 

Greenaway’s Pie & Mash does what it says on the tin. Produce great, hearty pies and creamy mash to hungry Londoners. This summer they are extending their pie offerings even further, with the arrival of their new strawberries and cream dessert pie. 

Launched to coincide with Wimbledon season, Greenaway’s pie is utterly delicious. It’s a baked strawberry cheesecake topped with fresh Scottish strawberries and Madagascan vanilla cream.

The Milestone Hotel & Residences

Available for the Wimbledon Championships only, The Milestone Hotel & Residences has introduced a few strawberry hued desserts to their all day dining menu and afternoon tea series. 

For a moment to remember, try the superb dessert of white chocolate bavarois with Champagne sorbet, strawberries infused with tarragon topped on a shortbread and tarragon sugar crumb. Their afternoon tea pastries have also been given the Wimbledon makeover, including a nod to a tennis ball in the shape of a lemon and lime macaron.

For a strawberry moment, look to Nobu’s strawberry cheesecake. It’s been a staple on their sweet menu since it opened over 20 years ago and has guests coming back for more.
