Created in partnership with Reiss

From chic tuxedo jackets to slinky slip dresses, Reiss rarely get it wrong when it comes to party wear. This season is no exception, so we’ve rounded up three failsafe looks that will see your through the festive season.

Party season is back, and we mean properly back. There’s the return of the office Christmas party (whether you love or loathe it), the diary is rapidly filling up with festive drinks parties and going out out feels right once again. If you’ve been living in sweats, or at the very least jeans, for the past 18 months, what better excuse to inject some fun back into your wardrobe than Christmas.

Whether you favour a sleek black trousers suit or slinky satin frocks, Reiss has something for everyone. Scroll on for three of our favourite looks, plus a whole host of party wear pieces sure get you in the mood for celebrating…

Look 1: The Velvet Tux

Reiss’ Opal tux jacket and velvet flared trousers are a cool way to do after-hours glam – the sumptuous fabric still feels regal and dressed up but less obvious than sequins.

We love the jacket worn slightly oversized, buttoned up and with nothing underneath for a look that sits just on the right side of sexy. But you can easily slip a lace bralette or slinky cami underneath for a little modesty that still says ‘bar over business’.

Finish off with barely-there sandals and the Azure North South beaded bag – its vintage feel makes it a piece you’ll return to time and time again.

Velvet makes a return every winter and no time feels more suited to the luxurious fabric than Christmas.

Look 2: The Slinky Slip Dress

Slip into Reiss’ stunning Mabel dress for when you need to bring out a showstopper. The plunging neckline and delicate shoulder straps feel almost black tie-esque, whilst the midi hem length keeps things less formal.

Let the vibrant green colour – which feels inherently festive – do the talking and pair with simple gold jewels and neutral tone heels. On chilly evenings sling an oversized black blazer or tux over your shoulders for a finishing touch.

The rich jewel toned green of Reiss' Mabel dress feels inherently festive.

Look 3: Top To Toe Winter White

Is there anything more luxurious than a head to toe white look? It may not be the most practical – opt for taxis over tube and avoid the red wine – but it looks and feels utterly decadent.

With a muted monochromatic colour palette it’s all about getting the proportions and textures right. So pair Reiss’ form fitting Adrienne bodysuit with a more relaxed pair if wide-leg trousers and add texture in the form of beaded or jewell= encrusted accessories in frosty silvers.

Finish the look off with the brass, crystal encrusted Arabella earrings and an elegant cream coat or metallic blazer.

Add a Bianca Jagger, Studio 54 vibe to your festive look with Reiss' disco-inspired body and '70's style flared white pants. It might not practical, but it's certainly elegant.
