Balthazar restaurant is open all day, seven days a week, with menus including breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Serving classic French brasserie dishes with an American twist, Balthazar is also known for its pastries and confectionary, both the restaurant and next door Balthazar Boulangerie serve some of the most delicious sweet treats in London! The Balthazar bar offers a stellar cocktail menu, overseen by legendary barman, Brian Silva.
Balthazar is also known for its fabulous Afternoon Tea collaborations. Having previously partnered with both Bobbi Brown and Matthew Williamson, the current Afternoon Tea has been created in partnership with online flower delivery service FLOWERBX. The Balthazar x FLOWERBX Afternoon Tea includes a curated selection of cakes that represent the season’s most exquisite flowers, and is as beautiful as it is delicious.
The Private Room
The private dining room is situated on the first floor above the restaurant, accessible either through the main doors or via a private entrance. It has its own bar and lounge, and accommodates up to 60 guests seated for breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner and up to 80 standing for receptions and launches. Guests can experience the same exceptional service, delicious food and ambient style of Balthazar in a more intimate setting. Antique timber floorboards, vintage wall sconces, an original pewter bar top and glass shades from Clignancourt in Paris create a delightful space for private events.
