Opening on 22nd May 2021 on Albemarle Street in Mayfair is ‘Bar des Prés’, the first international venture for acclaimed French chef Cyril Lignac. Moving to London from Paris, the original Bar des Prés opened in November of 2016; an understated concept tucked away in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, it swiftly became one of the capital’s best kept secrets. From the onset it was frequented daily by local fashion and film folk. For his first UK opening Cyril is delighted to bring an evolved version of Bar des Prés to the heart of Mayfair.
A restaurant which, in Paris, originally served only raw food, here in London the menu will offer Franco/East Asian creations both warm and cold. Elegant seafood will sit on the menu alongside
refined meat dishes, including: Scallops with caramelised miso; ‘Galette Craquette’ (crunchy crab galette); Madras curried crab with avocado; Satay fillet steak. Cyril’s dessert menu honours his
mastery of traditional French pastry – in revisiting the gamut of French patisserie classics the menu comprises his take on French toast, Chocolate tart, and Vanilla and pecan praline mille-feuille.

Set within a small and charming 18th Century building on Albemarle Street the restaurant will combine a bold blue exterior with discreet gold signage and touches of warm polished timber.
The wine list will offer nearly 250 references of French pours, highlighting the variety and complexity of wines from Burgundy to Bordeaux and beyond.
