The restaurant at Plateau serves elegant, contemporary French cuisine from respected Head Chef Daniel McGarey. Signature dishes making a regular appearance on the seasonal menus include: roast fillet of 28-day-aged Devon beef, girolle mushrooms and spinach in Burgundy sauce, and pot roast Goosnargh duck breast with bitter cherries and slow braised endives. The wine list is comprehensive and accessible, offering a good selection of Champagnes and wines from across the world. Iconic furniture, from Eero Saarinen’s tulip table and chairs to Castiglioni-style Arco floor lamps, give the restaurant its stylish feel and guests can catch glimpses of Daniel and his brigade at work in the adjoining open kitchen.
The grill serves modern, brasserie-style fare in a relaxed environment. A wide selection of steaks and fish are on offer, cooked to perfection in our Josper oven, alongside Plateau classics such as seared sea bream and Billingsgate Fish Pie. The grill shares the same view as the main restaurant, overlooking the large splash of green that is Canada Square.
The bar at Plateau has become a destination in its own right, serving cleverly created cocktails from our talented team of mixologists. Try their take on the classics or make your choice from the latest seasonal collection.
Outdoor dining and drinking on the Plateau terraces, enabling you to dine al fresco whatever the weather in both the restaurant and the bar and grill.
This winter we will be transforming our terrace into a sophisticated tasting lounge, in partnership with Rémy Martin, called La Maison D’Hiver Remy Martin. Each week, we will be bringing in unique pairing experiences to allow you to explore the varieties and tasting opportunities of the premium cognac.
Mondays – Cocktail pairing DIY
Enjoy some of our favorite cocktail pairings to match Rémy Martin’s aromatic complexity. Available Mondays from 3.30pm. The pairings include the Remy Grand Tonic for £12, a refreshing and iconic blend to be paired with croque monsieur for £20. Then the Sidecar for £16, a timeless, opulent and sophistacted cocktail to be paired with prosciutto and raclette cheese tartine for £22.

XO Pairing is a tailor-made pairing experience bringing the Rémy Martin XO to a new dimension. Each unique pairing brings the exceptional qualities of Rémy Martin XO, revealing its different facets and magnifying the full aromatic complexity. Enjoy a variety of sweet and savory food parings perfectly crafted to match the aromatic complexity of XO Cognac Fine Champagne, created by our Head Chef Jeremy Trehout.
