The Clermont, Victoria
Known for delivering extraordinary experiences, the beautiful and historic Grade II listed railway hotel in Victoria station – The Clermont – opened in 1862, and is surrounded by London’s most famous landmarks including Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. Following an £18 million investment across both The Clermont properties in 2019, The Clermont Victoria underwent an exquisite transformation. Upon entering the hotel lobby, guests are welcomed by the aroma of The Clermont’s signature fragrance and the sight of ornate furnishing as a nod to the building’s history.
The hotel offers three different F&B spaces:
-The SOAK, with its impressive arched windows and high ceilings, was opened as part of the hotel’s refurb in 2019 and provides a calming oasis to help guests make new memories, seven days a week. A striking oval bar creates a centre piece of the space, which is framed by plush seating, beautiful artwork and shuttered windows – creating soft lighting which adds to the ambience and warmth of the venue.
-Réunion Bar, overlooking the inside of Victoria station, the bar provides an intimate experience for guests who wish to settle into ornate high- back chairs surrounded by candles, with a varied selection of drinks.
-The Tea Lounge, which is open during the day and also used for breakfasts and afternoon teas, including the hotel’s iconic WICKED Afternoon Tea. This space can also be used for private events.

Official Hotel Partner of the smash hit musical WICKED, and offers a spell- binding twist on its afternoon tea for those who are seeking a touch of magic. Featuring delicate smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwiches, classic scones and an array of green treats, such as chocolate & pistachio bombes and lime cheesecakes, the menu is priced at £35 per head. Alongside decadent fancies, the cocktails are the real stars of the show, named ‘The Wicked’ and ‘The Good’ referring to the unlikely but profound friendship between the two main characters in the West End hit. Both serve different combinations of sweet, fruity flavours, topped up with sparkling wine. Elphaba and Glinda would surely approve!

Formerly known as The Grosvenor Hotel, The Clermont Victoria was London’s first railway hotel built in 1862. The building displays its impressive Victorian grandeur with high ceilings, dramatic staircases and spectacular chandeliers. Look out for the gold in the lobby – it’s real gold leaf!
