About The Terrace on Piccadilly
The Terrace On Piccadilly at Le Méridien Piccadilly serves classic cuisine with a contemporary twist infused with flavours from across the globe. With luscious greenery throughout the restaurant, this leafy suburban haven also provides a stylish setting for Afternoon Tea.
The Peter Rabbit™ Afternoon Tea lets children and grown-ups alike enjoy their favourite childhood story with tasty treats from chamomile chocolate pots to vegetable patch sandwiches.
Taking inspiration from the original Beatrix Potter tale, savoury delights include Mr. McGregor’s Garden wrapping vegetables referenced during Peter’s garden scramble such as carrots, radishes and pea shoots inside a mini baguette, as well as the Caught In A Twist smoked salmon and sun-dried tomato pinwheel.
Pastries include the beautiful Flower-Pot Hideout, a chamomile mousse inside an edible chocolate pot, flavours harking back to Peter’s warming bedtime tea after his adventurous day, an eye catching Magnificent Mushroom of strawberry ganache with a crunchy meringue stem, as well as Every Bunny’s Favourite, a delicious carrot cake. A selection of fresh scones, jams and clotted cream come served alongside the tea.
With a mini version presented inside a wooden vegetable patch box for children, and adults’ delights served on a tiered slate planter, the tea can be enjoyed by the whole family. Served in the bright and airy Terrace On Piccadilly boasting a Victorian glass atrium with floor to ceiling windows and balcony overlooking Piccadilly, and decked out with an array of foliage, the setting perfectly matches Peter’s tale.
The Terrace on Piccadilly has teamed up with Mirabeau en Provence rosé to serve up an exclusive menu of its finest wines, refreshing Frosé popsicles, new Prêt-à-Porter cans and all-day alfresco food in the new Au Soleil Balcony.
Overlooking buzzing Piccadilly, the balcony has been transformed into a Provençal oasis complete with lemon blossom inspired floral backdrops, chic panama hats, shabby chic furniture, and retro beach umbrellas; a quaint homage to the glamour of summers in the 1960’s Côte d’Azur.
