It’s not everyday you’re presented with a Turner Prize at the age of 30, but then again, we’re not all as creatively brilliant at Steve McQueen, who has been dubbed one of the greatest visual artists of our time. This spring sees Tate Modern honouring the first black filmmaker to win Best Picture at the Oscars for his phenomenal masterpiece, 12 Years A Slave with a major retrospective of his work. The exhibition features 14 of his major works spanning film, photography and sculpture. It’s seriously worth catching.

Doña was an easy inclusion with its dreamy pink hues, sparky jazz club vibes and being hugely female-led. Open Wednesday through to Saturday, the bar specialises in temptingly good Mezcal cocktails, and we can already vouch that our favourite is the Fiorella packed full of Dangerous Don Mezcal, ginger, supasawa, agave, lime wheel and coffee beans.
