Event overview

Each year, 300 marketers and publicists from across the publishing industry join for a day of talks, panels and networking. This year’s theme calls on us to push beyond the norm to reach new readers, discovering new channels, gaining fresh insight and just shifting the way you think. Speakers include Nisa Bayindir, a consumer psychologist and research director, who has worked as Head of Audience and Insights for Pottermore and Community Manager at Karmarama, and Nikesh Shukla, editor of Rife Magazine, as well as the editor of the acclaimed collection of essays about race and immigration by 21 writers of colour, The Good Immigrant. Other speakers include Amy Winchester who heads up PR for Unbound andd is a member of the PR department at HarperCollins’ fiction division, as well as Julia Kingsford, the co-founder of literary agency and marketing and publishing consultancy Kingsford Campbell.
