Press view of the Royal Academy of Art’s new destination venue in central London, the Keeper’s House, from 10am-5pm. The event is designed to give a sneak-peek into the newly renovated space before it opens. The £6.5 million project restores and puts fully into use the Keeper’s House for the first time in 50 years and will vastly improve and modernise the space, including a new destination restaurant by Oliver Peyton and a new garden bar which opens onto an enclosed courtyard garden on the previously unused lower-ground floor. The Keeper’s House will be open to the public every day from 4pm until late and open all day to Friends, Patrons and Royal Academicians and looks to be an exciting addition to the Mayfair club-and-restaurant scene. Opens to the public 30th September 2013.
