Closes 20th December 2019
The Handbook is giving away 4 x King Edward VII tickets (worth £164) for Saturday 21st December to one lucky winner.
Just four days before Christmas, the Christmas Family Raceday at Ascot features a top-quality day of Jumps racing in the calendar, headlined by the Grade One JLT Hurdle Race – one of the most prestigious long-distance hurdle races in Britain won by the likes of Thistlecrack and Big Buck’s in recent years. The card concludes with the ultra-competitive Betfair Exchange Trophy over two miles worth £150,000 which is always an exciting finale to the day.
The event promises to be exhilarating and enjoyable for all ages with a festive animal extravaganza complete with animatronic polar bear, giant ice sculptures, a Christmas parade led by Mr & Mrs Claus in a horse-drawn sleigh, free fairground rides, and candle-lit carol singing with the Ascot Brass Band.
Children are also welcome in Ascot’s Fine Dining restaurants with tiered packages available for under 17s. Prices from £19.20 per child with adults from £170.40 per person.
Little ones will be entertained by the Ascot Animal Trail, festive arts and crafts and face painting while Father Christmas and his reindeer will be in attendance, and Mrs Clause will return for her much-loved story telling by the fire.
All under 18s go FREE. Adult tickets from £26 available from www.ascot.co.uk
