Win Two Tickets to the Althorp Literary Festival

We’ve teamed up with the stunning Althorp Estate to offer two lucky readers the chance to win two tickets to the 14th Althorp Literary Festival on 5th October which includes admission and 3 author sessions.

The exciting and diverse author line up for 2017 includes Charles Spencer debuting his latest book To Catch a King, historian and journalist Dan Jones discussing his book The Templars and Radio 4 regular Pam Ayres with her latest works You Made Me Late Again. Other speakers include former Foreign Secretary, David Owen; BBC TV presenter, Evan Davis; the legendary Reverend Richard Coles; sports commentator, Henry Blofeld; British perfumer, Jo Malone MBE; celebrated TV chef, Ken Hom and Scottish tennis coach, Judy Murray.

A children’s festival is also being introduced for children aged between 8-12 years old, on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th October. This will feature talks by award-winning broadcaster, journalist and author Clare Balding OBE, local favourite Sue Bentley, Gilly Tompkins AKA Gangsta Granny and debut novelist Jess Butterworth.

With events staged throughout the tranquil grounds and 500-year-old house, the festival also plays host to pop-up retail outlets, live music, poetry performances, bird displays and a variety of delicious food and drink vendors.
