About The Vaselines
The Vaselines are a Scottish indie pop band that gained celebrity status in the 1980s and continue to be well-regarded in alternative music circles. Formed by Eugene Kelly and Frances McKee in Glasgow in 1986, the band’s unique sound and witty songwriting captured the attention of music enthusiasts and musicians, including the influential Kurt Cobain of Nirvana.
