The Media Database
The Handbook UK Limited’s media database is a repository of information relating to celebrities and influencers, in particular contact information. This data can then be accessed by our subscription customers.
What personal information we collect and how we collect it
At The Handbook UK Limited, we limit the information collected for the use in the media database. The information collected includes basic information including your name, contact details, job title, public social media profiles, social insight, agent and/or representation information, areas of interest, and a demographic overview.
Contact information is gathered either via the public domain where contacts are listed as a person to contact in relation to the subject, or directly from the contact themselves. In the case of the latter we ask permission from the contact to add their information and contact details to The Handbook UK limited and be made available to our clients.

Every 3 months we email all contacts on our database to remind them of this information we share on them and enable them to opt out or update your information. When responding you are able to opt out of having any or all information held on the database.

Through using this information, we at The Handbook UK Limited create a celebrity or influencer profile for you and include it in our media database on the VIP subscription platform. Our customers can then access this information via our subscription server which is on a paying basis. Our role as a celebrity directory is to help create an effective way of communicating between our subscribers and celebrities and influencers. This is enabled through our paying subscribers accessing agents and representatives details.

As a celebrity and influencer directory, we use your personal data to help provide our services to our subscribers. Using your data in this way also promotes you as a celebrity and/or influencer and also our subscribers. Our subscribers are able to communicate with you through the listing of your agents and/or representatives. Delete My Facebook Data
The Handbook uses oembed to embed Instagram posts into out articles. We do not save your personal data on our server. Facebook policy requires we provide instructions on how to delete your Facebook data.
If you want to delete your activities for The Handbook, you can remove your information by following these steps:
1. Go to your Facebook Account’s Setting & Privacy. Click “Settings”
2. Look for “Apps and Websites” and you will see all of the apps and websites you linked with your Facebook.
3. Search and Click “The Handbook” in the search bar.
4. Scroll and click “Remove”.
