Social Media Manager
The Handbook is looking for a creative, ambitious and socially savvy Social Media Manager to join our growing team, with a particular focus on leading our TikTok strategy while supporting the wider growth of our social channels.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 2+ years’ experience in social media—ideally within publishing, media, hospitality, luxury lifestyle, fashion, beauty or entertainment—who lives and breathes content, understands culture, and knows how to turn ideas into engaging, high-performing social campaigns.
The Role
You will take ownership of The Handbook’s TikTok presence, developing innovative content that grows audience, engagement and brand awareness, while also supporting our wider social strategy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and emerging platforms.
We’re looking for someone with a strong creative instinct, editorial judgement and a sharp eye for detail—someone who can help elevate The Handbook’s voice across social and push our content into new, more impactful territory.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow The Handbook’s TikTok channel, owning strategy, content planning and execution
- Create innovative, trend-led content that feels fresh, culturally relevant and aligned with The Handbook brand
- Bring original creative ideas, from reactive trend content to larger campaign concepts
- Monitor social trends, sounds, creators and platform shifts to keep The Handbook ahead of the curve
- Work closely with editorial, partnerships and brand teams to translate content into strong social storytelling
- Support wider social channels, including Instagram, Reels, Stories, LinkedIn and emerging platforms
- Analyse performance metrics and provide insights to shape future strategy
- Identify growth opportunities, audience behaviours and platform trends
- Ensure all content is delivered with excellent attention to detail, brand consistency and editorial polish
- Support content shoots, creator collaborations and event coverage where relevant
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years’ experience in a social media/content role with proven results
- Strong demonstrable TikTok growth experience (channels, campaigns or content you’ve helped scale)
- Strong understanding of social-first storytelling, video editing and content creation
- Deep knowledge of digital culture, trends, creators and platform behaviour
- Confident, creative thinker with the ability to pitch bold, original ideas
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Interest in luxury lifestyle, hospitality, fashion, beauty, culture or media is highly desirable
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Passionate about social media with a genuine drive to build standout content and audience growth
Working Style & Flexibility
This is not a traditional 9–5 role. Due to the nature of social media and real-time content creation, the successful candidate will need to be comfortable working flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends where required for live moments, events, cultural trends or campaign activity.
We are looking for someone who is highly responsive, culturally aware, and excited by the pace of social media where opportunities don’t always happen within office hours.

To take our rapidly growing commercial division to the next level, we’re on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Brand Partnerships Executive to join our sales team. This is your chance to work with iconic UK brands on exciting content-led campaigns and earn commission that rewards ambition.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and managing relationships with top UK luxury brands and agencies
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities and sponsorship leads
- Pitching creative, tailored advertising solutions that meet partner goals
- Negotiating commercial terms and closing high-value deals
- Managing client relations, campaign delivery, and performance reporting
- Collaborating closely with our Head of Partnerships to smash targets
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in online media sales or branded content partnerships
- A strong network of PR/media agency and brand contacts
- A proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
- A confident, proactive approach and a genuine passion for the London scene
- Highly self-motivated with a strong commercial instinct
