Claridge’s have unveiled their 2022 Christmas tree, and it is gorgeous. According to Claridge’s it’s the official start of Christmas, not advent or the first department store advert but the launch of the Claridge’s Christmas tree. London’s most glamorous tree in one of the capital’s most luxurious hotels, The Claridge’s tree is always a statement, a tree well worth a visit. And this year’s tree most certainly doesn’t disappoint.

Always the most hotly anticipated luxury tree in London, this year the honour of designing it went to Sandra Choi, Creative Director of Jimmy Choo. The hotel officially unveiled it in their lobby on Wednesday 23rd November and it was truly spectacular.

The Diamond, as the tree has been named, plays on the heritage of Jimmy Choo, for whom the precious stone has always been an icon. Incredibly, guests are able to step inside this year’s tree and experience it from every angle. Claridge’s also shared: “A magnificent sculptural creation standing over 5 metres tall, with sparkling lights which pulse and undulate, and a giant, glittering pink bow as the final flourish. We invite you to step inside the tree, like stepping into a jewel.”

Speaking about her appointment to design the tree, Choi said: “Claridge’s is a London icon. The perfect blend of glamour and decadence – great things happen at Claridge’s.

“There’s a magic energy as you enter the doors that’s contagious, from the warmth of the staff to the discrete buzz of guests in the lobby. And at night the hotel invites you to party.

“Claridge’s is a London jewel, it’s multifaceted, like the diamond that inspired our tree, like Jimmy Choo.”
