Inspiration For This Weekend: 15th – 17th June
It’s not too late to rush to a card shop, grab the first one on the rack, scribble a message, slap on a stamp and shove your fathers’ day card into a pillar box. But time is ticking down. However, should you entirely forget then you could salvage something by taking them to one of these events, make it look like you planned it all along. Or maybe you’ve ticked off fathers’ day and you’re looking for something for you, in which case here’s a smorgasbord of weekend options.

Supercars For Super Dads
Classic dad activity alert: head to St John’s Wood High Street and check out the classic and supercars on show at the sixth annual Classic and Supercar Pageant.Held in the heart of St John’s Wood the event will see a remarkable collection of relatively unseen classic cars including a select number of very special modern Supercars. Highlights inlude a 1914 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, a 1967 Ferrari 365 California Spyder, a Brough Superior SS100 motorcycle, a 1987 Aston Martin V8 Volanté and 1961 Lancia Flaminia Sport by Zagato among others. Perhaps not so much for the dads, but there will also be a fun fair and plenty more to do.

It's Show Time
Enjoy musicals? Love free stuff? Then you’ll be all over West End Live. The free event will take over Trafalgar Square for the annual musical extravaganza that will also spill over into Leicester Square and celebrate some of London’s top shows, including an impressive musical line up of performances, singalongs and workshops from 26 shows including Thriller Live and The Phantom of the Opera.

Aster, the Nordic-French restaurant in the iconic Nova Building has teamed up with Ketel One and vegan Nordic skincare brand Lumene for a special vegan brunch. The event involves four different whiskies, a Macallan 12yo sherry, double cask, triple cask and Macallan Rare Cask alongside twelve oysters in a combination of natural, dressed and cooked prepared by seafood specialists Wright Brothers.
