Panto Pods
The London Eye has once again transformed its pods and this time it’s set to impress any panto lover out there. 32 of its pods have been given a theatre-style makeover, decked out with velvet seats, spotlights and a mini stage to create an intimate sky-high theatre.
Available from 14th – 18th December, you can look forward to unique performances of London-themed legend Dick Whittington, performed by stars from the Phoenix Arts Club.
Jack and the Beanstalk
Renowned for its Pantoland performances, London Palladium will be bringing the legendary tale of Jack and the Beanstalk to the stage this Christmas.
Comedy icons Dawn French and Julian Clary will be joining forces to lead the cast for this brand-new production, filled with singing, wit and plenty of tongue-in-cheek jokes that you can’t help but laugh at.
Follow along as we watch Jack’s coming-of-age story unravel and see how well he fares as he’s given magic beans that sprout a rather strange beanstalk.
Goldilocks and the Three Bears
Goldilocks and the Three Bears is getting a festive spruce up this winter. Heading to Richmond Theatre, the fairy tale as old as time will be getting a twist, starring ex-Blue Peter presenter Matt Baker and a few of his celebrity pals.
Expect to see the likes of Dame Nigel Ellacott playing Dame Betty Barnum, comedian Phil Walker starring as Ringo the Ringmaster and actress Jessica Martin will be presenting us with this year’s baddie, Countess Von Winklebottom.
Join Goldilocks’ circus as it’s under threat by a rival circus owner. There’s only one way out and it’s with the help of the audience and fellow circus friends to rescue their Big Top from ruin.
Mother Goose
We weren’t expecting the return of this gem, but Hackney Empire will be celebrating 120 years of this crowd favourite panto by putting on an epic winter show.
Join Hackney Empire regular Dan Leno for an action-packed performance. Follow along as Mother Goose quickly realises fame from laying golden eggs isn’t all it’s made up to be. Expect plenty of laughter, bold costumes and lots of audience participation along the way.
Robin Hood
It wouldn’t be pantomime season without Robin Hood making an appearance, and this year you can join him and the merry men as they return to Greenwich Theatre.
Taxes are rising and the folk of Nottingham are having to move out of the city into the forest in order to survive. That is, until Robin Hood and his friends make a plan to steal from the rich and give back to the poor. Can he save the day?
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
New Wimbledon Theatre’s pantomime season is known for being a wild one, with over 50,000 theatre lovers attending each year. This winter season it celebrates with the fairest panto in all of the land, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
