Belts are back. It’s official. From classic styles to embellished bands, this fashion revival is one we’re excited for.

The resurgence in belts began with the silk scarf artfully tied about our waists, then came the onslaught of everything from statement and studded to layered and oversized. Spotted on the runways at Schiaparelli, Gucci and Louis Vuitton, there’s no denying the belt is back for autumn/winter 2025. Follow that with countless content creators cinching in their trousers with chic leather styles, and you have yourself a viral fashion accessory.

Back in the 2000s, Sienna Miller was the original poster girl of boho chic, wearing rhinestone disc belts and oversized buckles slung low on her hips. Today, she’s at the forefront of this revival, stepping out once again in leather and charm belts. Chloé is her label of choice this time around, for good reason. With designer Chemena Kamali at the helm, she’s given us an updated version of bohemian elegance with delicate chain belts over floaty numbers.

If you’re not here for the ornate and decorative iterations, then you’re in luck. More minimal designs are aplenty. Look to Victoria Beckham, Khaite and Dehanche for your investment pieces, and Mango, & Other Stories and Arket for more affordable, yet equally beautiful options.

Belt Up…

Slim Styles

Slimline belts add a touch of class; a finishing touch to an already sleek fit. Look to the likes of Céline, Victoria Beckham and Max Mara for sophisticated inspiration.

Wide & Layered Fits

Charm & Chains

Chloé is responsible for reigniting our love of all things bohemian including wide low slung and chain belts.

Western Edge

Cowboy chic is still holding strong, but for that filtered down version, opt for a studded belt, one with oversized buckles and plenty of drama.
