Beneath Shoreditch, Roscorp has opened a gateway to a newly discovered world called Avora, home to Luminol: a substance that could end Earth’s energy crisis. You’re recruited for the mission. The last team sent through never filed a report, and nobody at Roscorp is saying why.
Check in at the lab, lock away your belongings and pull on your Roscorp jumpsuit. Dr Shelley briefs you on the science, Mason Kriel runs security, and CODA, Roscorp’s AI, helps you work things out for yourself as the mission unfolds. Your first cocktail travels through the gateway with you: a sealed flask of synthesised Luminol.
On the other side, Avora is alive and bioluminescent, and it already knows your name. As you explore, guided by a live cast playing Shelley, Mason and the planet’s own inhabitants, you’ll piece together what happened to the missing researcher and what Roscorp really wants from Luminol. Your second drink arrives partway through, poured glowing into a glass built for exactly this moment.
What starts as a briefing turns into something closer to a reckoning. By your third drink, served at the mission’s climax, it’s clear not everyone in the room, human or otherwise, has been telling you the truth.
