Stella McCartney
Brit designer Stella McCartney has been vegan since launching her label back in 2001 and thus has had two decades to refine the faux leathers they use in their ready-to-wear and accessories linens. The result, as you can imagine, is some of the best on the market, from sumptuously soft bombers to well-tailored trousers.
The brand also offers up some more fashion-led pieces in vegan leather each season and for SS23 we’re lusting over the Broderie Anglaise-trimmed Mini Dress – grungy black leather trimmed with a sweet broderie anglaise trim.

Nanushka
Nanushka may be the fashion editor’s choice right now but their ethical values run far deeper than their sought-after collections. The brand, which was launched in 2005 by Hungarian London College of Fashion graduate Sandra Sandor, focuses on three key pillars throughout everything they do – Earth; Community; and Circularity – to ensure they are always creating considerately and giving back. They’ve also pledged to use 1000% sustainable materials by 2025.
Fashion-wise, expect tailored pieces with a feminine spin and some of the best vegan leather blazers around. This season, we’re adding milky-hued vegan leather The Ashton Jumpsuit to our wish list, as well as the butterscotch Karo Blazer – divine.
