Travelling abroad may be absolute chaos at the moment but there’s never been a better time to holiday right here in London, with a whole host of events spanning everything from food to beauty. One of our favourite shopping destinations in the capital, Harvey Nichols, is offering a stellar lineup of things to add to the calendar and we are here to give you the lowdown. Here’s what to bookmark this summer…
Summer Dining Is Back
Naturally, we always start with food and Harvey Nichols’ Summer Dining menu is sure to tempt. Book into the iconic Knightsbridge store for two courses and a glass of their signature summer sip, the Chandon Garden Spritz for £27, or three courses and a spritz for £33. The menu is light and seasonal and will have you feeling like you’re on holiday in the heart of the city, from Dorset crab with mango salsa and cucumber gazpacho to beef rump with summer beans and parmesan polenta chips. And to finish, the desserts are nothing short of epic, from Black Forest layered cakes to raspberry and pistachio custard tarts and lemon posset with blackberry compote and poppyseed tuiles. Heaven.
There are also terrace and outdoor dining options if you want to embrace this warm weather. Just book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Learn From The Best With Cocktail Masterclasses
Shake it up this summer with Harvey Nichols’ fun weekend cocktail classes. The store has teamed up with some of our favourite drinks brands – Malfy Gin, Lillet Rosé and Perrier-Jouët to name a few – to teach you how to make crowd-pleasing tipples to serve up all summer. Taking place on Saturdays and Sundays on various dates in August and September, the classes will offer a whole morning of cocktail making fun.
Harvey Nichols has teamed up with some of our favourite drinks brands - Malfy Gin, Lillet Rosé and Perrier-Jouët to name a few - to teach you how to make crowd-pleasing tipples to serve up all summer.
The day will start at 9am – well, it’s always 5pm somewhere – with a delicious breakfast of pastries, fruit salad, Greek yoghurt with honey granola, smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwiches and fresh orange juice. At 10am, an expert tutor will take you through three themed cocktails covering all the insider how-tos. After expanding your knowledge and tasting crafty concoctions, then it’s your turn. Each pair has their own cocktail making station with pre-sanitised tools to get you mixing, shaking, making and, of course, tasting your creation.
Finally, at 12 noon everyone will sit down to for lunch, enjoying a two-course meal and glass of wine. Plus, you’ll receive a certificate to mark the day – cute! Whether you want to impress on a day date or fancy doing something different with a friend, the classes are sure to be one of your summer 2022 highlights.

A Summer Of Live Music
What’s better than going for cocktails on balmy summer nights? Cocktails and live music. Head up to the Fifth Floor Bar to enjoy live music on selected dates throughout the summer months, to chill out to the beats of Harvey Nichols’ bands, singers and DJ bookings.
Each month, the bar introduces a new cocktail to the space, with this month welcoming The Applecentric Spritz, a refreshing mix of Avallen Calvados, Crème de Peche, Lemon Juice and topped with Fevertree Grape & Apricot Soda. What a way to start the weekend.
