She gave us the iconic glazed doughnut skin and the fabulous chocolate hue nails, but Hailey Bieber’sbbuzzworthy creation is the ‘Aperol spritz make-up‘. Picture last year’s golden hour glow, now dialled up with sizzling summer shades of orange and sunset blush. The result? A radiant, tawny look that’s perfect for those sunny days!

In a recent interview with Glamour, Hailey describes her Rhode Blush, and how she wants it to look when it’s applied. “I want people to put it on and think, ‘There’s an Aperol spritz'” she explains. “Maybe that’s it – it’s Aperol spritz makeup next!” Et voila, the next Bieber-inspired beauty trend was born.

How to get the look

“On your regular base, create a killer gradient by blending two to three blush shades,” suggests make-up artist Anouska Bloom @byanouska_. “Start with a deep, cool-toned blush near your contour and amp it up with a vibrant pop on the apples of your cheeks.

“Top it off with a gold-toned highlight just above your blush for that next-level radiance. Follow with a vibrant, orange-toned eyeshadow, then add a touch of balm/glossy coral or peach lipstick to complete the look.”

The key is connecting the eyes, lips and cheeks and keeping the tones of the orange spectrum.
